I'm with you. Living in NW Indiana and growing up listening to Lujack, I hope the network gets a major Chicago signal.
The next question, is will 'Lil' Tommy Edwards be Lujack's sidekick. It wouldn't be the same without him and "Animal Stories".

In the words of Tommy Roe........"Hooray For Hazel" ...Hit Parade Radio Is Back can't wait to hear It. Someone does cares about 30% of the population in the US. I am so excited the following Lyrics come to mind.
Never knew that my heart could go zing thata way,
Ting-a-ling thata way,
Make me sing thata way!
Said goodbye to my troubles, they went thata way,
Ever since you came into my life!
Oh! hot diggity, dog ziggity boom, what'cha do to me,
It's so new to me, what'cha do to me,
Hot diggity, dog ziggity boom, what'cha do to me,
When you're holdin' me tight

My assumption is Its Hit Parade format It might span 1948-1968...and more Strangers in the Night from 66 rather than Airplane or Love Is Blue from 68 rathjer than the Doors "Love Me Two Times". That's my guess based soley on the term Hit Parade.TheFonz said:hornet61 said:Hit Parade Radio Is Back can't wait to hear It. Someone does cares about 30% of the population in the US.
Looks like they're going to try to cover 20+ years of music. They might have to try to separate that out somehow during the programming day. I'm not sure that there's an audience for a format that plays Jefferson Airplane back-to-back with Patti Page.

Whatever the song is I've never heard it and I'm 55..Sounds like the Four Preps singing about "the only one of you." This sounds like "format 41" all over againl
