Although, I have noticed that 98.9's cume as an r&b station wasn't that great considering how high their ratings were. Not sure how important cume is compared to ratings, but just based on ratings, I would flip 106.7 to Urban AC stat.

Hey, don't go knockin' the Dispatch, they're doing a great job! I always know who my show's featured artists are, thanks to them.Nu_Roo_2 said:On the subject of local radio news reporting, it looks like the Dispatch has abandoned it completely. The ratings recaps have been gone for quite some time, and they no longer mention format flips or personnel changes -- not even a line or two.

This is going to be interesting to see what happens with radio now in Columbus. It seems all companies want a piece of the ratings pie.

Then again maybe radio one is seeing how other companies compete with them with urban music in other markets. So they figured they would alter their music choices some.

It would instantly win over those disgruntled Radio One listeners who are upset their gospel station is gone and their Urban AC has been sent to a static filled signal. 105.7s signal has about the same coverage as 98.9's Class A... 106.7 would be an "improvement" as Gospel signal wise to 106.3. Plus WNCI could "keep" hurting Power... Would be a big nightmare for R1.
