I'm reminded that you did not answer the T/F question as to whether the arguably most successful music station in the US* looks right at Women 25-34 when they get a book.
(Probably they look at Hispanic Women 25-54 at the same time... since that is the largest single component of their audience)
You might consider how stations research. If they do callout, or AMTs, they won't research the whole 18-49 or 25-54 or whatever... it is far more common to target the few years surrounding the median target age... a target median age of 30 might test 22-38. A rhythmic leaning CHR might test only women, too. As a result, looking at the demos... or custom demos in PPM markets... is tied to the way a station tests and targets.
Of course, this is a long way from the CPP against 18-49.
