So retail and service advertisers depend on seniors for most of their business.
And this is the only market I know of where the local TV news can have two ads in the same break for plastic surgery or Botox treatments or the like! And every break has an A/C service company ad in it.
If you consider that half the population is Hispanic and younger than average, the non-Hispanic white population is even older. So those formats aimed at 55+ can do very, very well.
