Not a crazy idea. I thought it would be a good idea for Lincoln Financial to buy 104.3 so they can have a FM simulcast for 790 the Ticket.
Is that a feasible idea?

LFM doesn't even want to be in the radio business. Plus, with the cuts they made recently in Miami, they would not likely add to their portfolio.
We might all be surprised who buys it. As I said before, Salem was on a big buying spree several years ago for their "Fish" format. They like having an FM "cash cow" to help pay for their AM talk and religious stations. Miami has the AM's, but not the FM.
Sports on FM might work here, but only if they can take the Dolphins away from Clear Channel. If sports happens on 104.3, at least two of the AMs would go bust. (remember, there are currently 4 sports stations in the market; WQAM, WAXY, WINZ and WMEN.)
I dont think so. Only because, why did it take CBS this long to make the application for the move? They want to sell it.DDV49 said:Does anyone know if an application has been filed for the sale of 104.3 to Goodman.I don't recall seeing one...Could CBS be thinking of holding on to the frequency and when the move is approved put CBS Sports radio in 104.3 in Miami ?
