I caught "The Huckabee Report" on Thursday afternoon on one the RW talkers and The Huxter was live reading an ad for LifeLock--reportedly one of the few Limbaugh advertisers still remaining.

Huckabee is terrible on every level. Terrible politician. Terrible radio host. Terrible TV host. So phony it's apparent even to the most casual of viewers/listeners.
Wow! You and I found something we agree on!
But other than the things you list he must be a pretty nice guy. (Let me get back to you on what might be on the nice list.)
After all he went to the same college I did. He worked for the same small-town radio station I did. He and I must have something in common.
And he and Bill Clinton share the same home town. But I don't think the two of them ate watermelons from the same patch.
I'm sure he's a nice guy, but he comes off as very insincere in his public persona. And he was a terrible radio host.
Once he got to Washington he could be himself. Which as we saw, wasn't quite the proper Southern Gentleman.
Oh I suspect you underestimate the propensity for wife swapping and other colorful behaviors by people who seem to be "proper Southern Gentlemen" on the surface.![]()

Oh, I know the stories from Little Rock. He was a naughty fellow there, too. But it was easier to cover up.
Jimmy Swaggert sounds like a proper Southern Gentleman too.
Even as a kid I could tell there was something off about that guy.
I think he does a good job on his three-minute commentaries. Why else would I listen to two out of the three each day?Terrible radio host. Terrible TV host. So phony it's apparent even to the most casual of viewers/listeners.
