I noticed just a while ago that they played Usher's "DJ got us falling in love" and they also play Taio Cruz a lot as well as Bruno Mars and Katy Perry. Thoughts or opinions?

I'm wondering about the same thing. It's a very good question, and in fact, I think about it often when I listen to Mix 102.9 and other similar stations. Seriously, how well does "Pride (In The Name Of Love)" work when segued into or out of "Bad Romance?" Even if I personally like both songs (and the artists) I'm wondering if it's a good thing to be that diverse in the format, whether in style, mood or the simple stretching of a station's playlist over several disparate decades.
