More changes on the way - this time CC?

So this thread turned out to be a legitimate one after all! The boy who cried wolf - AND THEN A WOLF ACTUALLY CAME OUT!

I almost wanted to give credit to RBRadioWaves or CCinsider, but noticed that Carolinaradio is actually the one who kicked this whole prediction off. Looks like the prediction for something to happen turned out to be accurate overall.

I know quite a few people here are going to be confused with a real chr sound here since it's not (or hasn't been) the norm in Atl. for years now, but people will eventually get used to it like they did the rhythmic format.

Lastly, as I've been stating in other posts (that some may see and some wont - so I'll mention it again here), I'm sure that Power 96.1 is starting off on the conservative side to steal from Q but will eventually shift to a full blown non discriminatory hits chr. What will happen to WiLD? Who knows. "Power" doesn't sound like a name for a conservative leaning chr.

---------------------------------------------------------------------
And along with all those predicting a chr on 96.1 for the longest time now, this person below also got things kind of right here with their post:

The other scenario is this (what CC really wants you to think):
94.9 stays intact
96.1 moves to 105.3
ESPN Deportes moves to 640/92.3
105.7/96.7 move to 'GST simul
105.7 moves to 96.1 w/ unknown name (goes CHR, no ghetto rap tracks)

Now does that seem smart to you? I hope not. And, does anyone think that CC would let some of their soon-to-be-fired employees know about the impending format flip? 'Course Not! Variety Hits on October 1st, or a Halloween stunt?

By the way, what took CC so long? I wonder where 96.1 would be now with ratings if it flipped to chr back when I first started saying a new chr should be tried (which was way before WiLD or Groove even came into the picture). I doubt that it's normal for me to be able to see the possibility of future outcomes for a chr in another town better than a company that is designed to research this. Imagine if WiLD was started on 96.1 or a larger signal in general (WITHOUT the periods of messed up playlists) from the get go! Looks like CC is getting serious now.
