More changes on the way - this time CC?

Interesting that there was no domain registered for Wild at 96.1.

Wild's current domain is wildatlanta.com -- that works at 96.1 as well as it works for where they are now. No need for a new domain.

Could they have done that on purpose from the start just incase they decided to move their frequency in the future?

No, probably when they switched from Groove to WiLD, they were already a two frequency station. So you have to go generic. "WiLDAtlanta.com"

Okay, the noon prediction was a bust, so I'm predicting 3:00. The DJ's at The Bull, Project, and El Patron get off their shifts at that time. David J is on until 6PM, though that probably does not matter. I'm monitoring this closely.

Did I just heat this correctly? On WiLD, they said "Be here at 5:45" and something about the pop world uniting.

Stay on this breaking news story. Become the BarryAtl of the Clear Channel moves.

No offense to anyone but the Peach name isn't coming back. In this market it connotates your mother or your grandmother's radio station and that 's no way to lock up one of your two top FM market signals. I am not saying that the Bull couldn't be gone if the billings are turning enough profit on an expensive station. I just don't see them wasting the Peach name on the 94.9 signal.

Yes Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez are tying the knot at a Roswell church.

I could see this happening at the 105.7 signal, though.

Maybe they could make the move at 6 PM tonight (middle of rush hour) or announce the time of the CC shifts.

In all reality, nothing will happen to 94.9, most likely.

It will stay as one of the most boring country stations ever.

Should it be something else? Yes. Was Peach magic? Yes. Should it have ever been taken away? Hell no.

Are ClearHeads smart? No. They will do whatever it takes to make them feel right in their own brain. They'll never admit a mistake. Will we get a VarietyHits/ClassicHits/SoftAC? Probably. It won't be called Peach. How does "Ted FM" sound, anybody!

Mix 94.9 hits of the 90s 2K and today lol

Even I admit that 94.9 has a very low chance of flipping, sadly. If peach is relaunched, it may start out on 105.7, and then "return" to 94.9 if it proves itself.

Just curious. What country station(s) are more "exciting" than 94.9?
You can't be talking about WKHX!!

Five minutes to 5PM, and WILD is promoting tickets to the iHeartRadio Music Festival, but I'm aiming for possibly a 5:45 PM change mentioned by qj567.

El Patron is promoting a concert on the 13th of August. However, a scheduled concert has not stopped any company from flipping stations before.

If Atlanta gets an AC format that aims at the 60s, 70s, and 80s - This board would become as dead as the Georgia board. Personally, would love to get an AC format station from that decade see we can change around some topics on this board. Jezzz....

Well, PPM came out today. WILD is on top, followed by The Bull, then WKLS, then WBZY WAY behind, and WGST. Yeah, WBZY is pretty much dead.

In terms of cume, WWVA, WUBL, WKLS, WBZY, WGST. WWLG is not even measured.
