More cuts at Curtis?

I've said this before, if Curtis Media was smart, 101.1 could become the new home of WSJS, especially since Alan Handleman is back on radio in the Triad.

And then what happens to 600?

My vote would be for the owner of WEGO to take it over, keep the call letters and move all the programming now on 980 to 600.

Greensboro ratings just came out and WSJS is showing up there for the first time in a long time...with a 0.6. Ouch! Is Handleman enough to save it or are they dead?

I’m glad to see the Curtis stations in the report again so I can see how their Spanish station is doing. Not bad but when CC had theirs, they were pulling better numbers.

This is the 1st time CMG had pais for PPM #s (at least for the Triad)

Considering they were COMPLETELY off the grid for a while....they're probably excited about that.

People know 600 as the station of record. I'm well aware the station has gone to hell in a hand basket. But if they just take the Herman Cain's of the world off the air and plug in local talk. It will work. I think Handleman will be good on there.
