XM RADIO said:Great comments Laffer!! Harlow if given time, could have put KFRC on track!! I never met the guy, I did call him and talked on numerous occasions to commend him for doing the "New Format"!!! I will never understand why you need a "Movin" format here! Etta James yes, When Sue Hall played that, and "Hes A Rebel" Crystals 1962 hit, I was taken by surprise, How many times do you want to hear "Build Me Up Buttercup"? that had to be Cammy and Deans theme song, they Overplayed it!!With Bob Harlow, KFRC could have really done well, New DJ s too!! Dean And Cammy, out, John Mack Flanagan in! Jo jo Kincaid, No bring inn"Lee Baby Sims" lets have some fun!! These Bo-zos at CBS are penny wise and $$$ foolish with their Station!! Now days you have to pay to hear Oldies, If KFRC could have been run by Harlow, then I wouldnt need XM or Sirius! I would save 12.95 twice!! Someone needs to listen to what people want and its not C and D or the other ones, If your going to play music that "Takes you Back' hire the guys who took you there in the 70 s!!! KFRC only had one "Morning Duo" that was worth listening to "Gary Bryan and J. Paul Emerson!!! and Afternoons were John Mack Flanagan!! Middays "Lee Sims"!!!!!! I would pay to hear these guys on again!!Kenny in Concord
