With the more focus on AC should they also consider a rebranding? I was thinking it would have happened after Christmas. As they kept calling themselves Christmas 105.9 and 100.7

Magic 105.9

Well, it would be if the final listeners they held on to from before 2017 were yelling about it.

And if someone besides The Surf and Hank would give us something to listen to. There were a few good songs left on Easy and I could actually listen in the car for a few minutes.

I found another list. While some lyrics weren't detailed enough that I could draw a conclusion, I did find these songs.

I checked WDUV's Last Songs Played. I believe at this point WDUV is the more conservative station.

Okay, I have confirmation of a change of format at WEZV. "Today's best and yesterday's favorites." That sounds like a gold-leaning mainstream AC rather than a soft AC.

I don't know why they would. They changed The Tide. And Star 92.1 wasn't content to stay AC. No other soft AC besides Easy has succeeded in Myrtle Beach for more than a short time. The one exception might be Star 99.5/Star 92.1, but I think it was always mainstream AC, even though the same songs would be soft AC now.

I thought I had a Post Malone song on my list but now I don't see it.

I went back to the original list I made when I heard lyrics. I saved the lists of all songs I heard and "Circles" WAS on there but I overlooked it because the title was so short.

Celine Dion used to be played a lot but now "Imperfections" seems to be the only song of hers they play.

It's nearly impossible to hear some lyrics and the web site still doesn't list songs they play. If DJs don't do it, web sites should. Recorded station IDs, the web site, and the web broadcast still say "continuous lite favorites". Well, THAT sure isn't the case.

It is COLD in Wisconsin but the music sure sounds good. I have iHeart on my TiVo. WEZV is on the desktop for just long enough to hear each song unless I miss one.

Dude, you’ve noted several times that they are now an AC station - why do you keep saying the music is not soft or easy? I would not expect an ac station to be “soft”.

I saved a link just in case, and you can't get there from the Facebook page. You have to use that link, and I don't know how this person knew to go there. Complaints are coming in. I'm glad I checked for them. But of course only compliments are visible if you go to the Facebook page itself.
