If I had a few extra dollars that is exactly what I would do. For a HD2 that just went on air a few days ago (in the last 5-6 days) and has already over 1000 followers on Facebook is pretty impressive I've had stations that it takes 2-3 months to get to the first 1k

For those more in the know of Spanish music formats, what exactly is the format of this Rumba? Regional Mexican? Tropical? A mix? Is it playing newer or older music?

LATIN URBAN with some tropical. would be my answer.
In that case, it would be Latin Urban & Rhythmic. The term "tropical" is not used to describe Latin American rhythmic music outside of Mexico and a few nations influenced by Mexico like Guatemala.

To be accurate in the English language format comparison, Rhythmic CHR is the really accurate description.

There’s always been a demand for this type of station in Cleveland and surrounding areas. It also helps that some of the team from La Mega is part of this new venture.

So the CAVS seem to have stayed on the WLGM LA MEGA STREAM. Would moving over to the new station not be a no-brainer? We talked about this station having a chance if it was on all the Smart Speakers but the only option I see is to get on Alexa .. How does a station get on siri I've never been able to figure that out.

Apparently, it's a mystery. I googled, trying to find the answer and all I got was how to listening a radio station on your iphone, ipad, ithink, idon'tknow and it just gave instructions on HOW to listen but nothing I could find on how Apple achieves it. I'm assuming it's some sorta agreement between stations and corporations and Apple/Google/AskJeeves algorithims

I remember the first year La Mega was on the air they did an all day 4th of July mix with various deejays. Rumba should do something like that this year.

DJXtreme was mixing it up with his Pura Mezclas on 7/4. Genres played: Salsa, Reggaeton,Merengue,Bachata,Guaracha and Latin House.

107.3 HD2 hasn’t budge from using the Rumba brand. They might have reached some type of agreement.
