Yes, 92.5's signal is ridiculous. Speaking of WANT, I've known they do R & B on Friday and Saturday nights with "Fantastic Fred" (if you've never listened it's definitely different), but tonight I noticed they were doing hits from the 50's, 60's, 70's, and 80's. It was good stuff. Buddy Holly to Billy Idol. It was nice to hear much of that on the radio again locally (WKOM comes in rarely). I like listening to their normal music format, as they're an FM version of 650, but have often wondered why they choose country when there's 6 FM country stations covering Wilson county. For those that feel oldies won't bring in the doe on a Nashville station, what are the thoughts on "Oldies 98.9" ? Especially now that it seems 98.7 is out of their way. It's rare they make the Nashville books since there are 3 stronger country stations, but if people found an "oldies fix" would they tune in? (I sure as heck would). Obviously the signal is sub-par in western metro, yet have translators in the boro if I'm not mistaken.
