So is ClearChannel just stunting with this "The Bull" country sneek peek or was this just an error by the web design weenies?
I smell a rat!
Are there markets where ClearChannel has developed country and executed the format well? Do they have the corperate "talent" to develope this format?
Does country, positioned for men, really make sense for Atlanta? (As someone pointed out on a post earlier, "THE Bull" positioner is NOT female friendly) That would be a total surrender of female listeners by the largest broadcast organization in market 10.
Do you really think Moby would be a good pick for this, if true? Who else, besides Rhubarb, has ANY name recognition in Atlanta for mornings?
WKHX is ripe for the pickin'......Caddy may be a nice guy (and was great for afternooons by himself) but he is terrible in AM drive. Mornings could be had by practically anyone. And the rest of the day is just a jukebox.
WKHX has never been strong, formatically or promotionally, simply because they don't have to be.......at least since they bought Y106.
If it were Cox doing this than I would fear for WKHX. I will be surprised if CC comes in with this format and succeeds.
