I'm assuming that she's at least maintained, if not improved, the nighttime ratings previously garnered by the live local bodies that her affiliates used to employ, so is there really an argument to be made for dumping her?

I know she's not target the demo that a lot of us are in, and I definitely don't listen. The problem is, that the music in her show no longer fits the rest of the station. The newer stuff that is now considered AC (Gwen Stefani, Katy Perry, Nickelback, Daughtry) gets played on Delilah, but not on WPLM during the rest of the day. If they could get a version of the show like Tesh, where stations insert their own music, it might work a bit better.

"I'm also noticing a few playlist anomalies. WPLM played Neil Young's "Hey Hey, My My" and the Moody Blues' "I'm Just a Singer in a Rock and Roll Band" this morning. What's so AC or female-skewing about those classic-rock staples?"
My wife won't listen to anything else but classic rock; there are tons of women who love those songs. I think it's a great idea to add classic rock. It's a stations she and I can both listen to and love.
