SFM-Ptgal said:Anyway (now a bit of OT) if we consider the video itself as an advertisement it would be considered ilegal under the Advertisement Code... here in Portugal ;D Because it mentions directly the name of the contender(s)
Goran Tomas said:Yes, Omnia often resorts to bashing of competitors in their ads and promotional campaings. I guess they think that making someone else look bad, is going to make themselves look good. A pretty bad tactic if you ask me, but it's their choice. It's something that I personally don't like and puts me off.
For me, putting this video up is just another addition to their recent string of promotional debacles...

Must say the video leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm using an Omnia

Wonder if Bill Gates whines about those "Mac vs. PC" ads.![]()
Oh good grief..
If you liked the ad, that's cool! If you didn't like it, that's also cool!
But turning this into a politically correct debate is silly. I'm sure Bob Orban can counter with his own ad campaign, poking fun at Omnia.
I'm an Orban fan myself, but I still found the ad funny.
