Is there any doubt that consolidation, syndication and corporate ownership has killed radio?
As was pointed out in several posts, 20 years ago people would have been lined up for this job. Today anyone who has done any research on radio knows that they will be pushing buttons, maybe get to do a liner or two, but they will not be the next Howard Stern.
2 and a half months to fill a position that could have been done by a high school kid.
