I posted on their facebook wall something about them playing some good music, but sure hope they don't "punt" if they think they're getting "sacked," or something along those lines. VERY subtle so that most listeners wouldn't know what I was talking about, but the "party" removed my comment AND me...

Well, I've had experience with this and here is what happens, It does not increase the power or coverage from an RF signal standpoint; however, by switching off the 19 khz stereo pilot in the stations audio processor, it forces the radio to narrow-band by turning off the stereo decoder. Helps out automobile radios to a large degree. If the signal is ZERO at a specific location, its not going to make a difference either way but driving around it going to reduce the choppy sounds referred to as "multi-path". We tried it both ways at WTN years ago on several occasions and MONO definitely was the best mode. I'm sure 102.5 would benefit from making the change either way.Tibbs2 said:It's really going to happen if they removed a post on their Facebook page. Amazing that 10,000 12-years-olds that cannot complete a damn sentence without typos and missspelllingz can trash the new format all day!
Biggest issue ---- with talk - the signal pops so badly that it will sound like AM. Watt - does turning off the stereo impact the signal?
At least on THAT frequency, it is!D Dean said:So does this spell the end of Hot AC for Nashville? After 3 (4?) failed attempts?
