Are you living in a sinkhole? Try moving to sea level. You will hear it loud and clear.

Uhhhh, MAJOR CHANGE, excuse us. So, now it's 80's and 90's and no longer 80's and more. Therefore, it's NEW. What a piece of crap. Are you throwing a party for clients to celebrate the NEW?MsMusicRadio said:The Point is NEW. It is now 80"s and 90"s------------not' the 80"s and more"

Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!
And I thought a sinkhole was real Florida living.
Pretty much.Stormychuck said:Hey if stations say it's well, NEW, it must be...Because they tell us it is....
JoJo Walker said:What about Mike & JoJo for mornings at PLAY 98.7? We both put Mix 96 and KissFM on the air and on the map! We've been doing mornings for 20 years and who better to know how to get the ladies of Tampa bay to listen? We've been doing it for years...and we know how to work the PPM!
If Orlando (who's programing the station) wants to win...he'll call....SOON!
You've got my vote. Although, AM Tampa Bay will still continue to be my first choice.JoJo Walker said:What about Mike & JoJo for mornings at PLAY 98.7? drt said:What Jeff says is true, be advised that wherever you shop for a radio; if there are online reviews; read them, often people mention good points and bad points about a radio, that won't be mentioned or even alluded to in the ads. (and I would look for at leave 5 reviews on a particular radio before thinking that the overall review is accurate.) Unfortunately for the people in eastern Hillsborough county 92.5 and 98.7's towers are not in the Riverview antenna farm complex, but in Indian Shores, so you do have to have a decent radio to pick up both of those CBS stations in Eastern Hillsbourgh county; for all of Pinellas' 1,000,000 residents reception should not be a problem......and as Jeff has pointed out he gets both stations fine, but of course he has invested in something more than a cheap $15 clock radio, I'm assuming.badjef said:Your reception problems can be cleaned up with a better radio with a better aimed antenna.MsMusicRadio said:I can't get 98.7 on any radio in the house. Brandon is close to the antenna farms in Riverview. Radios differ greatly in their designs.
Radio Shack has a good selection of radios that will do the trick ranging in price and flexibility.
I pick 98.7 and 92.5 up fine.
My problem used to be 99.5. Since the move from Tower Plaza earlier this year, it has greatly improved. (Thank You, Ralphie boy).
Jeff in Sa-ra-so-ta!
For people in Brandon, Valrico, Gibsonton, Litha, Riverview and Ruskin, you are close enough to the antenna farm, where you should be able to receive the HD (Hybrid Digital) stations that broadcast from that antenna farm. (The Hybrid Digital signals have a much smaller footprint than the HD1 signal, due to much lower power levels.)
