What about Mike & JoJo for mornings at PLAY 98.7? We both put Mix 96 and KissFM on the air and on the map! We've been doing mornings for 20 years and who better to know how to get the ladies of Tampa bay to listen? We've been doing it for years...and we know how to work the PPM!

I like the idea. And if CBS can rehire C.T. Judd after he moved to WUBL? If WSJT wants to take on 933 FLZ or MIX, they should have some personality. If they are taking on the POINT or The EAGLE-------they don't need anything but boring, and repetitive liners that remain the same for years.

Thanks Jeff...It only makes sence to put someone with a name in this town on a new station. Just for the press alone.
Wasn't it less than a year ago you guys were all bent out of shape over PPM and CBS booting you from WRBQ? Now suddenly all is well with CBS? JoJo, with all due respect to you and your talents... I'm not sure if Play is looking for the style, comedy, and talk that you guys would bring. And hiring air talent based on "name" alone in 2010 is simply not good radio business. Besides, I'm pretty sure the budget for Play isn't that big. Are you willing to work for a lot less than your used too?

I'm doing that already...and if you knew radio...no matter where you go, it's the same. I just want to suport my family, hopefully without having to move out of state.

If the crews on MIX and Magic can do AC /Hot AC-------Mike and JoJo can work on Play. 933FLZ and Wild 94.1 have jocks who definitely sound "young and hip" except for MJ who is kinda as" old radio" as Mike and JoJo. Again-----Cletus T.Judd jumped ship to CC and CBS rehired him so why not Mike and JoJo?

Brandon is close to the antenna farms in Riverview. Radios differ greatly in their designs.
Radio Shack has a good selection of radios that will do the trick ranging in price and flexibility.
I pick 98.7 and 92.5 up fine.
My problem used to be 99.5. Since the move from Tower Plaza earlier this year, it has greatly improved. (Thank You, Ralphie boy).

For people in Brandon, Valrico, Gibsonton, Litha, Riverview and Ruskin, you are close enough to the antenna farm, where you should be able to receive the HD (Hybrid Digital) stations that broadcast from that antenna farm. (The Hybrid Digital signals have a much smaller footprint than the HD1 signal, due to much lower power levels.)

I was staying with my parents (they live in Sun City Center) and really enjoyed WSJT. I did not have a problem receiving it either.
But I do agree that CBS is just trying to pull some audience away from Mix and FLZ... probably to benefit Wild???
