Radio Nacional da Amazonias, 0015-0200UTC on 11780khz from a 100kw transmitter into a curtain antenna beamed at 312 degrees azimuth from a transmitter site 40km NW of Brasilia. Target region is the northern Amazon forest region.

Im 5000 miles outside of their target zone but only 8 degrees off dead center and the perfect place for a 3rd hop. 11780 here is consistently this good, way better than it was in Alaska

TEF6686 Radio, DXEngineering preamp, EmTech ZM2 antenna tuner, big Wellbrook type magnetic loop antenna along with accessories like a Zoom H1 to record audio and Pyle wireless mic system to feed audio directly into my camera for video.

Nothing major, but tropo was bringing the DelMarVa-area stations into central NJ this morning. I heard "Q105" (104.7 WQHQ Ocean City-Salisbury, MD), classic rock on 106.9 (most likely "The Fox" WAFX Suffolk, VA), and "Big 107.7" (WGBG-FM Fruitland, MD), along with southern NJ stations like "Lite 96.9" (WFPG Atlantic City, NJ), "SoJO 104.9" (WSJO Egg Harbor City, NJ), and "Cat Country 107.3" (WPUR Atlantic City, NJ).

You should have been listening to the FM dial last night. 2-3 hours of non-stop FM Es top-of-band on the East Coast. Some DXers even had multiple local FMs wiped out.

DX Potential off to a strong start already this morning.
High MUFs up to 110+ and climbing !!
Looks likes it's gonna be another good E-Skip day!
