OK, friends. Now for some facts.
Pesky things, those facts.
Never was a C and D letter, probably would not have been one in a while. I should have stunted this until there was a letter as the P/R would have been great. I am not a jerk, though, and i do not believe in "trespassing" so to speak.
It would appear that when Bonne took the keys, the Service Mark/Trade Mark did not pass through to them. I am positive that the seller meant to do it but it fell through the cracks.
When the yogurt hit the fan, on this board, our top notch team of lawyers in DC did a check see. The rights stopped just before Bonneville.
Funny, huh? We may have done our friends in Salt Lake City a great service. I'll bet that passing the rights to the Q forward became job one.
I was never big on Q anyway and if i had known about the Q being so strong in the market, we would have not used it. Too much
Arbitron confusion. Real Talk rolls off the tongue better, IMO. Someone big in the talk industry talked me in to it. They profusely apologized about it, post facto.
BTW, the missing 30 minutes of a recent Reds game by The Big One just reminds us that "stuff happens". Our crew in Cincinnati are pretty dedicated and work hard. They have most of the bugs out. Heck, the wiring was such a mess that i was surprised that we got a signal to the transmitter. If you are industry guys, i would expect that you'd like to see another success in local radio as it will mean more jobs. We are going to be hiring, real soon.
Puff, feel free to share with us what you do and where you do it so we can spend some time picking your work product apart as well.
BTW, as you can see I don't hide behind any false and fancy Screen names. I don't have to. How 'bout a little reciprocity?
