The only other country station other that WXTU that I remember in Philly was US-1. That's where the WUSL call letters came from before it was Power 99.hey lmao I have an idea...
If you're gonna put country on 104.5 call it WRCP! Wasn't that the country format ages ago on that frequency?
I'm soooo not serious!
How does WUSL perform in younger demos?
And its rating is unchanged.WUSL is #5 18-34. It was #4 last month.
Understand the 1.5 represents from 12+. Shows like The Woody Show is strong with males 24+. They also flip the mid-day host with the night host. Sounds like I-Heart hanging on.Iheart and Audacy has been flipping underperforming radio stations as of late. is ALT 104.5 on the chopping block. With it's 1.5 share
They flipped WISX again. WDAS, Q102, ALT 104.5 and Power 99 are all here to stay for the time beingUnderstand the 1.5 represents from 12+. Shows like The Woody Show is strong with males 24+. They also flip the mid-day host with the night host. Sounds like I-Heart hanging on.
My favoriteslol, nothing sparks more interest on these boards and opinions (based on fact or jjust what folks wish for) then format changes!
even the hint, or hope of one...
You do know companies make multi-station adjustments sometimes? Because A happens does not preclude B.They flipped WISX again. WDAS, Q102, ALT 104.5 and Power 99 are all here to stay for the time being

I had the right idea in paragraph two, it would appear. Wrong station, though. 😁Classic Rock, Country and Rock are among the options that ought to be considered for 104.5 if ratings fail to rebound soon. I'm tempted to say Hot AC, too, but if such an effort were to gain any steam, B101 would simply shift hotter or 96.5 TDY would revert to Adult CHR (something, frankly, that station ought to consider doing right now).
David, would a format geared toward some segment of the Latino community be viable? I know that topic has been discussed here before, but I cannot recall your assessment off the top of my head.
I would love to see News/Talk return to a full power FM signal in Philly, but I'm very skeptical that iHM would be willing to commit to such an undertaking.
