deltas69 said:may be just as well if they go the way of buggy whips...last time i went in one and asked for a 1/4 inch phone plug..they guy gave me a 20 foot phone cord. i explained what i wanted and he just stood there..i then drew a picture on what i wanted he said oh..those things are in a drawer over here..but thats not what they're called..he pulled one out in a radio shack bag and it said "1/4 inch phone plug"..i had to explain that years ago before ipods and color tv..they were used to connect phone lines at switchboards.."whats a switch board"..my answer 'do you take debit cards"...seriously the radio hobbiest's that frequented radio shacks over the years im sure have greatly diminished and i cant see a lot of people buying pc's, cells phones. and all the other overpriced toys they stocked..
