One of the stories on this said that The Rangers will control much more of the ad time than in the past-
that's the same deal the Cowboys took with Cumulus then with CBS- It's Jerry's inventory, Jerry's people sell it, the station just clears his spots and gets very few fringe spots to sell for their own.
Now it's Chuck and Nolan's ad inventory to sell. If the Rangers do well and make it back into the playoffs, Chuck and Nolan get to sell those extra spots and pocket that money- rather than the 2 KRLD's and CBS getting that money.
