Has GCU basketball found a new home? I tried the KQFN stream from the station website and I only heard a commercial and nothing.
I just checked with my Panasonic Walkman style receiver. Both KFNN and KQFN are off of the air and both the 99.3 and 105.3 translators are missing in action (I don't live close enough to verify the standing of the 95.9 translator of KQFN but I assume the same is holding true for it as well.) There is no current radio station in the Phoenix area carrying the GCU basketball game. The fact that both of these stations and their translators are completely off of the air (no carriers I can hear and Santa Monica's KBLA is getting some nice clear skywave action now on 1580) tells me that those stations may have finally bitten the dust, at least for this owner. The good news is that with some Senate Democrats agreeing to reopen the Federal government, we should soon know if both licenses are being cancelled or if only silent status is being sought for both stations. Stay tuned!
