Robin and Maynard now in talks with.....

errrr, GO AHEAD - take a guess....I DO KNOW the answer folks -

- winner only gets 'Radio-Info Enternal Turpitude'...
:)

Nope - but that WOULD be good route for them...

I'm not sure if they (would) have the capital to venture that...
??

...but here's a clue:

"they made a merger"

Hopefully they are in talks with AARP about their retirement! It's past their time, they had a good run.

airwaver, I am a fan of radio but do not keep up with mergers, since the demise of great radio and only about 5 companies owning most stations these days, I prefer to simply listen. So give it up already....

This board has been pretty darn boring since they went off the air! Yeah, we all got Lisa Wood's panties in a knot but that only lasted a few days.

C'MON!!!!!!

I really hope to hear them again and soon. I received an email from Ed Gruntner a few weeks ago who promised an upcoming update to the website.

Where are they going?

I'm with TeeTaw and Placebo on this one, and I don't give a hot diddly damn who knows it. I would run naked through devil's club if I thought it would help get them back on the air, but, thank God, I don't think it would.

Just throwing some educated guesses out here.... If they remain in Seattle, i'd say it's either another Entercom station, or Jack FM. I can't think of anywhere else in the market they could go to, other than some LPFM station (Radio KYA maybe? Super CFL "Merged" with KYA some time ago).

Another Entercom station? HA! That seems very unlikely given their history with the company.

On second thought, Entercom loves to fire and re-hire people. They'll be back on in no time.

Re: Robin and Maynard

Nope...all wrong...
================
Here's another clue:

Stutson's claim regarding this station's future programming was WRONG...

It's NOT ENTERCOM!

I know....
guess again....

Winner gets a prayer for perfectionism by Ichabod for board posts....
:)

Airwaver, what's your fascination with Ichabod? You sure like camping up his a**.

Clear Channel is the only place left for R & M. Entercom won't rehire them, Infinity/CBS was happy to get rid of them.

Possibly the new night team at KJR-AM? It sounds wierd but Maynard is an avid baseball fan and Robin looks like a defensive lineman.

Correct!

Word is that CC may be they're only outlet here...

I can see them on KJR-FM mornings....or even on afternoons replacing Rockin' Ric...

...and Stutson...eat your gawd-dang heart out!

CC wouldn't hire them... especially after she sued Entercom for a comment BJ Shea said.

If CC did hire them, next thing we'd hear is her sueing CC for a comment T-man made towards women, that she would say was directed at her.

Not gonna happen!

Their time has passed, they should just hang their hat and call it good.

....May be "they're" only outlet?....

I meant "THEIR"...

Hey, if R & M wanna go with the 'voicetrack vultures', it's conceivable...
