WFT first needs to break into the Top 20. ;D

If traffic is STOPPED on an interstate during the RUSH LIMBAUGH show, then when coming back from a scheduled break, make a quick 5-second report - simple as that. Sure 30-seconds for routine traffic is not an option, 5-seconds for a backup inside 465 is not too much to ask for the NEWS and INFORMATION station to provide.
There is at least one per week between I-69 on the north side, 74 heading west out of town, 65 in Lebanon area, or I-70 in Mount Comfort area - ALL with people trying to get home -- these DO have backups regularly many times per month - especially in the winter.

radioho said:You keep repeating yourself. I will say one more time, when there is stopped traffic on interstates, it would be nice if the NEWS and INFORMATION station would throw that info out there in a 5-second blurb. NOT an entire traffic report every 10 minutes during Rush.
Sorry if I offended your employer. And please, as a station, don't try to improve, you are perfect as you are.

Hannity may have had his peak a while back but I'm sure Cumulus threw a wad of money to get him from WXNT and Entercom over to FM. It be at least a year or 2 before we see Cumulus throw in the towel on WFT. with them taking WFTK in Cincy on a more local basis. it wouldnt shock me to see some sort of down the road of either simulcasting some of the WFTK shows on WFT either live or delayed. or try to find some local talent. unfortunately for Frenchman the song will be stuck on HD-2 till Cumulus finds something else to air on HD-2bigtime said:MikeStandardsFromIndiana said:With the deal they have with Hannity im sure Cumulus wont be changing WFT anytime soon. probly cost them a pretty penny to steal Hannity from WXNT for WFT. It feels like Hannity was stongest a year or two ago. WXNT had him at his peak. Savage seems like the only strong show 93.9 has.
This has been haunting me for quite a while...had to resurrect this one. There were a number of comments made about Amber when she started at WIBC. Since then, she's been leaned on to host several talks shows when the regular hosts were unavailable and I for one want to agree with the listeners who think she's one of the best. If there ever was a robotic, lack of personality in her delivery, it's long gone.hoosierloser said:Maybe it's me, but every time Amber Stearns is doing Indy Today live at Noon I have to switch the station. Her robotic-like delivery just irks me and when she tries to show some personality, I just cringe. Times like this where I miss Leigh Denoon (and I hate being those folks that hang on to the past).
Annnnnnd, that's all I got.

If Cumulus wants WFT to break back into the Top 20 then they need to switch the format back to contemporary Christian music and hire me.

You have to apply at a station to work there, not just relentlessly trash them on the board. Cleanup at the buffet.
