10:45 would make as much sense as anything at this point. Needless to say, anything not resembling a rock format will chase away Rock 104.5 listeners as soon as it debuts, so why not at 10:45, 15 minutes before 11 (for you double time checkers).
Yes, I am intrigued too. @JAWilson, thanks for wondering where I was last night. I was listening...and I followed the comments here till around 10:30 w/o signing on. I just thought it best to stay on the side lines. I've always been about heritage and it was sad to see something that was so very special to a lot of people go away. Actually I was speechless when the long, live version of Freebird played.
They'll be plenty of time and at a more appropriate time to weigh in on whatever happens. My hope is always that the radio market becomes stronger as a result. We'll have to just stay tuned....and the stunt/loop continues

Oops...one more thing... not sure if anyone mentioned this...in the malfunction part of the loop..it sounds like they are trying to say...that station is not "ready" before it all fades away. So I'm thinking, it could be once the stunt is over and we hear the entire version of Fooled Around and Fell In Love (as an example) and that will be the format. Or, they can be cute and say this station IS READY and WOKV miraculously appears...just a thought.

I have something to point out: If they were moving Power 104.5 over they wouldn't do this stunt because they could easily change the playlist over without any issue since all the stations are usually connected together through the computer. The stunt loop is not running on automation so I am.wondering by the way the stunt is being done that they are using this time to load the new format up. Just my two cents.
