Remember, it's Al-Jazeera America. A new branch of what's turning into one of the most respected news organizations in the world. A nice competitor for BBC. And what I saw yesterday on their debut was just as good as what I saw from Al-Jazeera English last time I was in Paris.
Wish they spent a little less time for discussion shows in the morning, and just stuck with straight spot news reports til at least 9am Pacific time. It could take me away from a lifelong radio-in-the-morning routine, since I find less and less of substance on the radio anymore.
As for CNN and fox, please don't mistake most of what they do for news. If I wanted your opinion on what you're reporting, I'd ask for it. Otherwise, keep the sneers and gossipy inflection for anonymous postings on web boards like this, and not in a "news program," please!
And if "Corporate Suite" thinks there's something inherently evil about a news organization that's based in an Arab country, what about one that's owned by a citizen of communist China (ie Rupert Murdoch)?
