Shows that haven't been seen anywhere in years

"Man From Atlantis" is available through the Warner Archives, and the 2nd season of "Maverick" is coming out in May (also from Warner Archives.

to follow the interesting way they did, or did not, deal with cast changes which included the dreaded death of two cast members.
I assume the other death (besides Bea Benaderet) was Smiley Burnette in 1967, which wasn't the death blow that Bea's death was.

Yes. Smiley Burnette's sudden depature was only referred to one time that I'm aware of. "Kate Bradley" respectfully asked "Floyd" something like ... "You miss "Charlie" don't you". A sad "Floyd Smoot" shook his head yes.

"December Bride" ran 5 years (1954-59), but in my 53 years, I had never seen it in reruns. Shokus Video provided my fix. Not all that bad a show.

"Medical Center" reruns were supposed to be on the original PAX sked in 1998, but something happened (no idea what it was), and it never came about.

Haven't seen "Mork & Mindy" anywhere since maybe 1986.

Lotta detective shows missing.....The FBI, Barnaby Jones, Harry O.....

Maybe it was that episode with Robert Reed that game them cold feet.

Wasn't it on recently on SyFy or The Hub?

Small Wonder hasn't been on (at least American) TV since 1996, when KTTV channel 11, the Fox O&O in L.A., stopped airing the reruns. I liked that show (especially Vicki) so much as a child, and I still like it now as an adult. (I own the first season on DVD, BTW.) I haven't bought the second season yet. I hope the third and fourth seasons see a DVD release.

In fact, I'm surprised that The Hub hasn't tried to get the rights to air it on their channel, since they show other 1980s fare, like ALF and Who's the Boss? and (I believe) The Facts of Life.

It shouldn't matter if one season of a long-running series was inferior in the view of whomever. Fans of the show would most likely want all seasons.

for a lot of shows, the final season is like watching a relative waiting to die, these shows were put out of their misery by getting cancelled

Neil Patrick Harris is a hot property now. Is "Doogie Howser, M.D."
on DVD?

Likewise, the show ABC paired with it: "The Wonder Years."

The Hub just recently started showing Mork and Mindy.
A tribute program for Laugh-In shows up occasionally on PBS.
I've got a number of color Petticoat Junction episodes on VHS, on a set by Columbia (I think) that I found at an antique mall.
I had asked about The Cape. I should have been more specific. This was a syndicated series from 1996-1997 starring Corbin Bernsen and Adam Baldwin, about the astronauts at Cape Canaveral. It remains to this day the most physically beautiful TV show I have ever seen, and its theme music won an Emmy.

they're on the Hub, or were recently, music licensing issues keeps The Wonder Years off DVD

The Wonder Years, Wings, and Coach are on Netflix online. Wings is also on Reelz.

Although The Twilight Zone is available on Me-TV and SyFy I've never seen where Me-TV shows any of the hour long episodes from season 4, and they're only on occasionally on marathons on SyFy. Netflix has seasons 1-3 and 5 online, but not 4. Is season 4 even out on DVD?

I know most people don't like season 4, but there were a few episodes I liked and would like to be able to see them.

All five seasons are available on DVD. As far as I know, SyFy still airs TZ early in the morning, but I'm not sure what order they air the episodes, or if they include the fourth season. Thy usually save it for the holiday marathons. They run the lackluster season 5 a lot, however.

Twilight Zone is one of the few older series out on BluRay. I have the complete set - the picture quality is amazing.

MeTV airs the hour long episodes occasionally on Sunday nights, when TZ airs for an hour. Weeknights it's on only for a half hour.
