So who picks up Imus?

It sounds like Abq Citadel might be wanting to polish up the KTBL image a bit. Frisch is imaging the station as KKOB's talk partner. So, we'll get Don Imus with ranchera music in the background during pre-sunrise time. They could add-in some short local news inserts during drive times. They've got the in-house staff to do it, and it might reduce some of the program warehouse feel.

FCC page says they're operating under a STA due to some vandalism at the transmitter site. Maybe the wolf dogs have been chewing on the cables -- and that's a picture Fybush would like for his calendar!
 
I'm not in ABQ right now but a few months ago the power was much reduced in the city. Eeds told me that vandalism had been reported at several ABQ stations including 1050. Maybe it was the wolf dawgs! :mad:
