From WNWV's sister property (for now), The Elyria Chronicle-Telegram.
No word on the purchase price.
Whatever Rubber City does with 107.3 is pure speculation right now.
It's obvious that 107.3 will have to move out of their current Broad Street studios in Elyria when the deal closes. Possibly may be moved in a temporary basis to the RCRG HQ in Akron until new studios - presumably at their current sales HQ in Rocky River - are ready. (I thought there already were auxiliary studios for WNWV at Rocky River, but it appears I was wrong.)
I wouldn't be shocked if RCRG intends to still target Cleveland with 107.3. Who knows? It would be tough to see it operated solely as a rimshot into Akron. And it would be almost impossible to move the signal southeast without all sorts of problems.
