*What is the agreement between CC/Premiere and Cumulus (legacy ABC/Citadel) regarding Hannity? Specifically, does Cumulus still have any right-of-first-refusal for placing or keeping Hannity on a Cumulus station especially vs. a CC station?

Based on what I read, while Hannity is a Premiere Radio show, Cumulus has the right to keep it on any of its O&O's.

I would be surprised if the Fan moves to 92.3. You can get 660 from RI to PA and upto Mass and down to Delaware. Unless the signal change you couldn't even pick up 92.3 in Bridgeport, CT when Howard was on.

lso why XRK's calls move here no correlation that I see.

I'd hate that,I wouldn't get to hear 92.3 WDEF out of Chattanooga on My radio. I think, however, it's only a matter of time until The Fan moves to FM.

I just had a thought. (insert joke) CBS owns WFAN 660 NY. They could legally make 92.9 WFAN FM (they own the AM call WFAN). What could 680 do based on MTM verses WKRP (Dallas GA). FCC call letters are not limited by "trademarks" (the TV show: WKRP in this case). I do not think Arbitron or Cumulus would be able to stop 92.9 becoming WFAN FM. I can not find a working link to Arbitron's ratings on the "improved" site, so I am using my memory, but I think 680 WCNN was not listed in Arbitron last month so would Arbitron care?

I'm guessing (IANAL) that 92.9 could become WFAN-FM and Dickey couldn't do anything about it, but they wouldn't be able to make any references to "Fan" as their station moniker without the Dickey Bros. successfully taking issue. To put it another way, they could call themselves "double-you-eff-ay-en" all day long (with an "eff-em" for their legal ID) but never "Fan".
