Stars 97.3 Stunting

I agree. I think getting rid of Delilah is a good move as well. Delilah is made for soft rock stations. Stars was far from being a soft rock station, unless if Delilah was on(IMO).

I know I might be thinking long term...but I wonder if Ramar will try to bring a soft rock format to 107.7 if and when it comes to town?
 
I had a chance to listen in tonight for a bit from San Diego. I think the stations sounds pretty good (at least during Tom Kent). Definitely a Hot AC playlist with good imaging (I like the voice guy whoever he is... and I also like the jingles).

To regress... I remember when 97.3 was licensed to Plainview as KATX and known as Star 97.3 (not Stars). It was later KVOP Plainview. Both were canned AC formats, but they were decent. This was probably the early '90s to early '00s. Then the move to Lubbock brought the first simulcast of Fox Talk and later Hot 97.3 as KSTQ (before KSTQ and KLZK swapped frequencies). I always thought it was funny the station that was originally Star 97.3 became Stars 97.3. Ahhh the memories... :)

i agree it will either be soft rock or they might try to get their rhythmic station back.
