Stolz - The gift that keeps on giving!

Not so fast! He's now appealing the decision to a higher court:

What I thought there was a court order that if he does not hand over all his stations then he would be in prison or lose his companies FCC license for the stations in question.

Update the FCC issues a notice of violation to the Stolz and receivership over their Translators in Palm Springs.

There is an update:

That's a pretty remarkable hearing. Royce International now owes the receiver $451,000 just in the receiver's legal fees incurred to attend all of these hearings.

I kind of want to have coffee one day with Mr. Stolz, just to try and understand what type of a moron he is.

His lawyer is no longer his lawyer.

Dear Ms. Dortch:

Please be advised that this office is no longer representing Royce International Broadcasting Corporation (“Royce”) or Silver State Broadcasting, LLC (“Silver State”) in this proceeding.

Royce and Silver State are in the process of retaining new counsel for these proceedings.

If there are any questions, please contact this of

Mr. Stolz has hired new counsel, based in Arlington, VA. The new counsel has requested 3 weeks' extension from the FCC so that they may better understand "this very complex proceeding."

As is his right under the laws of the land. Right? What is he supposed to do, just lie down and surrender? In that case he really would be rightly considered crazy. He has paid the original suit, now he needs to pay the price incurred by his refusal to pay the music rights fees along with the costs to the receiver for their work. Mr. Stoltz is the maker of all his problems, even the judge sees this. Mr. Stoltz wake up and defuse these issues you've got the keys....

I think all parties agree that the music licensing fees have been paid now. However, the judge says the receiver must also be paid before the receivership can be terminated, an amount that runs into the hundreds of thousands, largely because of the legal fees accumulated through Stolz's ceaseless motions.
