Not only is the MOViN format tanking here - it is in several markets. Especially in LA. 0.7 (12+) and they have Rick Dees in the morning and jocks all day.

My ipod and cd player in the car never play songs I don't like and they're commercial-free. I'll listen to commercials if the station will provide a little entertainment and/or information occasionally.

It seems to me anyway that they spend too much time telling you how to feel.
Does this bother anyone else?

It IS the music. Maybe at first it was kinda cute but it has no staying power.
The Time - Jungle Love
Prince - When Dove's Cry
Sir Mix-A-Lot - Baby Got Back
Pras - Ghetto Superstar
Will Smith - Men In Black
Cameo - Word Up
2Pac - California Love
Madonna & Justin Timberlake every hour (or so it seems) Ugh!
Let's compare that crap to what has just played on WNUA Smooth Jazz - Chicago
Peter White - The Closer I Get To You
Mindi Abair - Bloom
The Whispers - And The Beat Goes On
Kim Pensyl - That's The Way Of The World
Kenny G - Northern Lights
Down To The Bone - Staten Island Groove
Lee Ritenour - Forget Me Nots
Paul Taylor - On The Move
Anita Baker - Fairy Tales
Steve Cole - Everyday
Paul Hardcastle - Rainforest
Now, which do you think has more TSL?
