Guns & Roses, Metallica, Incubus, Foo Fighters, Nirvana, Beastie Boys, Buckcherry, and the clip list goes on.
Krock is probably back.

Is it just me, or whenever there's talk about a New York format flip, the "Urban Hayseeds" come out of the woodwork? K-ROCK IS COMING BACK.......I predict.

I second that notion. After all, the fact that "923krock.com" says "website coming soon" imo, says quite a bit.

right. but still owned by CBS, and in the same block as 923freefm.com and suddenly theres a placeholder on the site? seems suspicious.

Still, it appears pretty definite that K-Rock is on its way back.
What I’ve found is that it’s only very recently been acquired by CBS Radio. A look at the archive for 923krock.com shows you that it was owned previously by a squatter. Looking at underlying whois data, the domain began pointing at the CBS nameservers yesterday. I wonder if this really is the shotgun move some people have been speculating it to be?
