The CW to play Golf with LIV Tour

I wonder how many of the stations declining the golf are doing so because management fears audience outrage over the Saudi connection or simply because management can make more money showing something else in that time slot. We here are all either in the broadcasting business or have an intense interest in TV and radio, so the sports fans among us are well aware of what LIV Golf is and who's behind it. But is the average viewer?
The average viewer may never have heard of LIV golf. The average sports fan probably has heard of it. The average golf fan surely has heard of it, and has an opinion (for or against). Of those three groups, the largest is the first, and the one that might comprise the largest share of the audience for it, just by stumbling across it in the program guide that afternoon. Do they keep tuned in, along with the number of general sports and golf-specific fans? That's what will make the rating a success or not.

but Nexstar owns the CW now but nothing to when Nexstar stations that don't have CW yet when they will and WDAF no secondary channel yet. Hearst doesn't own any channels.

Hearst owns KMBC and KCWE, and I don't see them selling. There is absolutely ZERO chance that Nexstar is dumb enough to give up a Fox affiliation (willingly at least) for a CW affiliation.

CW is the worst performing and most expensive broadcast network, there is a reason why CBS and WB dumped it. Ion may do worse from time to time ratings wise, but it's cheap.

Not get rid of it but add it because some Nexstar stations that don't already have it CW might want to add it and then like KCWE can become More TV or another Independent channel.

Hearst owns KCCI in Des Moines so Hearst does own affiliates and Nexstar owns The CW network which is The CW as in primetime and Saturday morning programming and now their golf. Nexstar also owns affiliates that aren't all CW affiliates like in Des Moines they own the NBC affiliate WHO.

KMBC/KCWE,KSHB/KMCI and KPXE and KCTV5/MYKSMOTV but FOX4KC no Secondary channel like when a Sporting Event is running past 9pm just waiting to its over or 5pm Saturday/Sunday to show Newscast.

CW7 is airing LIV Golf in West Michigan owned by Sinclair if they didn't air would've been WXSP that aired LIV Golf since Nexstar owns WXSP.

They are flipping schedules in San Francisco this weekend: KRON will air the CW's LIV Golf coverage, farming out their contracted HBCU Basketball Games to KBCW. Other non-CW Stations picking up LIV Golf this season:
WPHL - Philadelphia
Peachtree TV - Atlanta (Also seen in parts of Canada)
WGN - Chicago
WTTA -Tampa

The notion of CW being the "most expensive broadcast network" more like Fox News increasing it's synergies with the Fox Broadcasting Company by following the Sinclair propaganda mandate to their local affiliates. To be clear Fox outviews The CW by 3 to 1 margin in total viewers.

There are only 4 major networks and CW is not one of them.
