*** You don't have to listen for a station for a week or a month straight to get what they're up to. And, anybody can read ratings reports.

*** Please don't put me in a general "everybody" blanket statement. If you actually read my posts you'd see I was NOT one of those who thought the old Cox xtaff should come back, etc. Don't lump me in with everybody on every thought or statement just because I don't agree with you all the time.

*** Because they sounded bush-league 4 months ago and they don't sound much better 2 weeks ago. "Better and larger" playlist is not fact, just a matter of opinion. Most disagree with you on this subject.

*** I truly understand the daunting task of putting a new station on air and am most always among the first to say "give 'em a chance". I also get that we get one chance to make a good first impression. KOOL sounds like a faint attempt to replace 96.9- Cox has their own issues, for sure, but the station usually sounded pretty solid (if unspectacular). Kool 100.7 sounds very rough and disjointed and not up to Top 50 market standards.
Some of the other cats are right about you. Just because our takes on Renda's stations (only such a hot topic because they're the newest stations) are different than yours doesn't mean we're wrong. DIFFERENT IS OK- it's what makes for productive back and forth and the springboard for ideas. The fact that some of us really do know what we're talking about seems to be a real trouble spot for you. No disrespect intended, but please get over it.
