Maybe it's all birdfeed national news. Hartford's 910 was run on-the-ultra-cheap for a while running CNN audio. It kept the transmitter warm and, I suppose, brought in some local advertising.

Not as wild as you might think at first glance. WKXW Trenton (NJ 101.5) does N/T weekdays with music nights and weekends.
A simulcast with WBZ from, say, 5a-7p weekdays and some kind of music (except Urban AC ;D ;D) the rest of the time might do well and cost very little. I wonder if WBZA is available?

Perhaps bring back classic WODS during the music shifts, if looking at the NJ101.5 model? They could still do news at the top of the hour.
