I think 96.1 or 92.9 are flipping formatsAnd that will be a shame. He's not flashy, but he got the job done.
Perhaps not. Lucas has been a stalwart in morning drive at Star, and would be a fine fit for middays at Kiss. It seems most tawdry to predict or anticipate the demise of a person's career, even as an objective assessment. Could be that Townsquare realizes Lucas' worth and invites him to join the Breeze. His Facebook posts note that he's also become a licensed real estate agent, so it appears Lucas is well prepared for any hand that's dealt him by "Sick Cents A Share Broadcasting."I think this will be the end of Rob Lucas decades long career in radio
If memory serves, back in the day Kiss used to do dayparting of their music. Insofar as "the syndication" part goes, keep in mind that that was Audacy-driven(Julia(from Chicago's B96)in middays, Bru(who does his thing from L.A.)in PM drive).Kiss has usually been the dominant station in the cluster. They've already announced it's being sold. I don't expect them to drop the Kiss moniker, but I do think that they'll try to daypart it to try to attract former Kiss listeners during the daytime. Maybe they replace some of the syndication with former Star hosts. Maybe they don't.
I'd think that the first scenario you mentioned is more likely, considering that the Breeze's lineup is pretty much set.Perhaps not. Mostly money and the problems the owner has overall.Did ratings have anything to do with Star going off of the air
I wonder if they will sell stations is markets like Hartford and GreensboroMostly money and the problems the owner has overall.
Don't you mean 98.5?On air Imaging is reduced, most imaging is redirecting to 96.5.
"Very Sooon, this station will cease to exist, Your new home for fun is just down the dial at Kiss 96.5 "
They are just dumping the Star brand it seems.
Hartford, Greensboro, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre are among Audacy's most successful and profitable markets that to this point have been messed with the least since the Entercom/CBS merger.I wonder if they will sell stations is markets like Hartford and Greensboro
I think it’s very unlikely but I wonder if they will sell off stations until the debt is payed. But there is very few buyersHartford, Greensboro, and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre are among Audacy's most successful and profitable markets that to this point have been messed with the least since the Entercom/CBS merger.
They can't sell their way out of debt. The debt is too big, and every station sale also reduces cash flow.I think it’s very unlikely but I wonder if they will sell off stations until the debt is payed. But there is very few buyers
Yes.Don't you mean 98.5?
