Here is one I need some help with......there was a novelty tune out in the late 50s or early 60s- I believe the title was 'Mildred our choir director'. It was a song about two guys out in the country hearing a person screaming while hanging on to the edge of a cliff. The song ends with one of them saying.."Chumley you don't suppose she was trying to......tell us something?"

I think you refer to a rather obscure 45rpm single released in Australia in mid/late 50s on MGM label. The flip side title was "The Hoobaschnob Machine". Apologies, that's the only info I can offer you. Maybe someone from down under [on this thread] can help you.
