They preempted that for this?

so here in Mankato at 9pm KEYC-DT2 instead of local news they are simulcasting CBSN Minneapolis (just like KEYC CBS is)

...and at 9:30 they went back to syndicated programming. KEYC CBS still on CBSN Minneapolis

Seattle stations are back on again because of riots and looting in Bellevue WA, along with a continuation of protests in Seattle.

You make it seem as if 100% of people are and historically were racist.

Some people are racist. Some are bullies. Some are just morons. But not everyone.

Yes what people dont take the time to understand is the reason that people are rioting and protesting and looting is because they feel as if they are not being heard or listened too. You understand this unlike lots of other people on here.

Minneapolis Big 4 pre-emptions minimal tonight

Nobody started news early tonight
KARE NBC was done at 10:35 so Fallon started on time
KMSP FOX was done at 10:40 pre-empting the first 5 minutes of TMZ
KSTP ABC was done at 11:05 so they pre-empted the 1st half of Kimmel
WCCO CBS left at 11:05 joining Colbert in progress

WJLA ABC 7 in DC pre-empted World News Tonight, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy! for protest coverage (and to cover POTUS walking across the street to take a picture in front of a church??).

WPXI NBC 12 in Pittsburgh aired local protest coverage until 8:00 as well.

WRAL NBC 5 in Raleigh also covered through to 8:00, pre-empting Inside Edition at 7:30.

WBFF FOX 45 appeared to simulcast WJLA's coverage (both are owned by Sinclair) for some time; Jeopardy! at 7:00 was mostly if not entirely pre-empted (coverage was still on as of 7:17), but Wheel was on when I briefly tuned in around 7:37 (while WJLA still had coverage).

Last night was the Massachusetts Senatorial Debate. At least one Big Four affiliate in both native MA markets (Boston and Springfield) as well as neighbors Albany, NY and Providence, RI, aired it from 7-8 PM.

Boston:
WCVB ABC 5 pre-empted a local newscast and local program "Chronicle", although the latter also airs on 5.2 MeTV at 6:30, pre-empting The Flintstones.

Springfield:
WSHM CBS 3 pre-empted Inside Edition and Entertainment Tonight. IE does not re-air in this market, but ET re-airs at 10:35 PM on WGGB 40.2 FOX.

WGGB ABC 40 pre-empted two episodes of Family Feud. Two other episodes air at 4:00 and 4:30. (Side note: WGGB does not carry any of Feud's four weekend runs at all, similar to how WWLP is one of the only stations not to carry Wheel of Fortune's sole weekend run)

WGGB FOX 40.2 pre-empted two episodes of Modern Family.

All three stations are co-owned. All affected shows' Monday episodes have been bumped to Saturday morning at 4:00 and 4:30 AM on their respective stations in place of Paid Programming, though IE and ET's makegoods are listed as repeats of Friday's episodes. WWLP NBC 22 was the only one of Springfield's Big Four to not air the debate, sticking with Wheel and Jeopardy!

Albany, NY:
WTEN ABC 10 moved Wheel and Jeopardy! to WXXA FOX 23, pre-empting a local newscast and one episode of Judge Judy. Another episode airs at 6:00 PM, and two other episodes air on WTEN at 3:00 and 3:30.

Providence, RI:
WJAR NBC 10 pre-empted a local newscast and Extra. The latter does not re-air.

Dumb Dora is so dumb …

HOW DUMB IS SHE?

Told that you can remember your computer password more easily if it's your name, she had her name legally changed.

In case I didn't say it, the ABC station in Charlotte just had to start covering more protests Sunday night just minutes before the 11:00 news.

WBBH NBC 2 in Fort Myers, Florida is airing Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy! on a one-day delay this week through Saturday due to both shows being pre-empted by a hurricane special yesterday.

It turns out they're only doing this for Jeopardy!. Tuesday's episode of Wheel aired today, but Monday's Jeopardy! followed.

WWMT CBS 3 covered last night's protest in Kalamazoo from 6-8, pre-empting CBS Evening News, Wheel of Fortune, and Jeopardy! Also noticed a WOOD NBC 8 reporter in the background; they have news at 7:00 anyway but may have pre-empted Inside Edition at 7:30.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot gave a speech last night at 6:30 PM Central. It aired on all of Chicago's major affiliates except for one. The following programs were pre-empted:

WBBM CBS 2: Entertainment Tonight
WMAQ NBC 5: Access Hollywood
WLS ABC 7: Wheel of Fortune
WGN 9: WGN Evening News
WCIU CW 26: Mike & Molly
WFLD FOX 32: The Big Bang Theory
WMEU "The U" 48: Live PD: Police Patrol

WPWR My 50 was the only station that did not air the speech, sticking with Family Feud.

Severe weather in the Philadelphia area caused WPVI ABC 6 to cut in just before Final Jeopardy! and did not sign off until Round 3 of Wheel of Fortune. A lot of outcry on social media regarding the interruption of the former show, but not so much for the latter.

A very few people spouting off is not an outcry.
