Fox actually had two lightning delays with the Titans and Dolphins a couple of seasons ago (Because they can under the current TV contracts to make sure there's enough games on CBS and FOX each week, CBS traded this AFC v AFC game to FOX). The first lightning delay pushed the start about an hour and a half later than its original 3:25 CT kick, and the second happened just before the two minute warning, so Fox was bleeding into "The OT" and after "The OT", Fox had scheduled the premiere of the "one season wonder" comedy Rel. When the two minute warning was over, Rel went on as scheduled and Fox missed a series of plays! Someone eventually realized the game was still on and switched back for conclusion of the Titans coming up short by a few yards on 4th down on a series of downs that would've tied the game on a touchdown and two point conversion, so that technically was the Heidi moment of my lifetime.

Don't you mean: "Keep in MIND that CBS DOESN'T HAVE the SEC anymore but OTHER SPORTS can still wreak HAVOC on the network schedule though"? If you're going to have a contrived posting shtick on this board, you need to be consistent!
The Navy/Air Force game on CBS ended at 7:15 ET and went to local programming so they didn't go over this week by too much. In checking next Saturday CBS's schedule still shows the SEC game ending at 7 PM ET, which almost never happens. I don't see why they don't run a postgame show at least until 7:30 or 8:00 since the games almost always run over.
The Panthers are on WSOC-TV Thursday night and two of the three ABC shows are on in the middle of the night. I haven't seen where the third one is.
New York City Metro Viewers will get the very first look at the Brooklyn 99 Series Finale, when it airs at 7pm tomorrow night on WNBC, ahead of the rest of the east coast affiliates. That will be followed by the simulcast of NFL Network's TNF between the New York Giants and The Washington Football Team. In the DC Market, the game will air on WTTG Fox 5, starting with a 7:30pm local pre-game show, pre-empting TMZ. The Prime Time Fox schedule for that night (Master Chef Legends Finale and Call Me Kat) gets shifted to 1:30-3:30am, knocking out the Informercial Block.

CBS already airs the Mountain West, Conference USA & (I think) the Sun Belt Conference on CBS Sports Network (Which BTW I see yielding to the streaming CBS Sports HQ channel as CBS Sports Network has NO other purpose FOR EXISTING than College Football) so I suspect that will simply be moved to CBS on a regional basis

Well they no longer have The U. S. Ooen but I think they still have a few other tournaments under their belt though
None over the air, some Davis Cup and World Team Tennis on their cable network, where, being sports, they don't preempt entertainment or news programming.
So what happens with the Emmys tonight if the NFL runs late. Like if the Dallas @ LA Chargers game ends on time, but the Tennessee @ Seattle game goes to overtime. How long would they wait?

This week's Monday Night Football Pre-emptions: The FOX Stations in Detroit (WJBK) and Green (WLUK) will simulcast the ESPN Broadcast for the home market teams, pushing back the Season Premiere of 9-1-1 and the debut of The Big Leap to 11:30pm Eastern/10:30pm Central.
Bad news for Law And Order fans in the Houston, TX market; You'll have to re-set those DVR'S from 7pm this Thursday to 1:05am Early Friday for the Season Premieres of SVU and Organized Crime. KPRC is pushing them to overnight making way for NFL Network's broadcast of TNF Carolina Vs. Houston. In the Charlotte, NC market, the game will air on the ABC station, WSOC 9. They're splitting ABC's schedule into two; The Holy Moly finale airs 1:30am Early Friday, one episode of The Hustler follows; the second 10pm Hustler episode gets pushed even further to 2:30am Early Saturday.
MNF Week 3 Pre-Emptions: There's been much on-air promotion from WPHL 17 Philadelphia all last week and today for tonight's ESPN Simulcast of the Eagles-Cowboys match-up, even tying it in with the Station's Young Sheldon debut at 7pm. In the Dallas Market, the game airs on ABC station WFAA, shifting Dancing With The Stars and The Good Doctor over to Channel 8.2, which is mostly Weather Maps and NOAA Radio. This subchannel also streams 24/7 on the station's Website, so it will be interesting to see if they go out of their way to alter said stream tonight.
This was not mentioned, but WLWT aired last night's Thursday Night Football game. I'm pretty sure the NBC programming that aired last night moved to the MeTV Subchannel.

The game MUST be shown locally OTA. Same rules as has been since cable started carrying the games (back in 1987)
