If NFL PRESEASON aired on FOX, which shows would be preempted?
Huh? If the network airs it, nothing as that’s the scheduled programming.
OKAY HOW MANY TIMES DID THE SIMPSONS GET PREEMPTED?
Who would bother counting or caring? If it’s not scheduled a given week, that’s not pre-empted. It means that day a different program was slated to air.

Tonight's AFV is a national preemption. This thread is specifically about local preemptions.
Even nationally it’s not pre-empted really. It wasn’t scheduled this week. They aren’t bumping a scheduled episode for news, sports or similar. They’re running their schedule as scheduled.
I didn't see the specific date but WSOC-TV intends to cover the MLS draft when it happens.
Tonight's remaining NFL Saturday Game between the NE Pats and the IN Colts will air in Boston on WBZ-TV 4, shifting tonight's CBS Prime Time rerun lineup to MY 38 WSBK. In Indy, the game will air on WIXN FOX 59, shifting the PBC on Fox Fight to WTTV 4.2 in that market.
Only a few hours ago, UCLA Football made the announcement they were forced to withdraw from tonight's Holiday Bowl in San Diego against North Carolina, and the game, set to be televised on FOX has been cancelled. The network is giving back the 7:30pm slot to affiliates (as well as 4:30-8pm to West Coast stations), and running the previous 2 episodes of The Masked Singer from 8-10pm tonight.
Finally, I saw that this happened December 14. It was menrtioned on whatever ABC program I was watching that had been recorded weeks earlier. This is just here for documentation.

well, the end of tonight's episode of America's Funniest Home Videos was interrupted by ABC News to break the news of AFV's original host Bob Saget's passing.

All we missed was the announcement of who won and maybe some of what was said after, though I think my recording ended prematurely. Maybe they didn't continue the announcement and what came next in real time, because a lot more should have happened in that length of time.
Nothing worse than premature recording ending. I think they make a pill for it.
What I think happened is they delayed resuming the program so less would be left out and cut off some of the closing credits.
I’m sure that was something someone running the feed had time to think about and time out.

A new drama named Monarch is coming to FOX. It is scheduled to premiere January 30.
