UHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh didnt they "import" their last afternoon host? the one that Toucher and Rich just replaced because hee got his arse handed to him??.............Importing talent, Jesus Joe you're so full of it.. They needed to allow the talent to be talent instead of trying to rely on being all about the music in a time when the listeners have the music before the station's are allowed to even play it.............among other reasons why they're sinking.

And let me guess radiofreeNc, if the review that you're given of the show is not a glowing "Oh my god they're the future of radio, they're going to be the biggest thing since Opie and Anthony and Stern combined"............Then that will be because Bostonians are stuck up too etc, right?. :
No the review doesnt have to be good. When they start streaming I will tune in and see for my self. But that does not take away the fact that "ya'll" are d****.[EDIT-derogatory word]
I listened to about four breaks this afternoon. I think I'd rather be punched in the crotch than do that again. It is sad how many shows think you can say something 'dirty' and that makes you just like Stern or O&A. Believe it or not, to make that kind of thing work you really need to be on the ball and what I heard of the show today was no where near that.BCN has had its ups and downs over the years but it is really sad to see the state it is in now.deadman said:

STERN?BAHAHAHAH!<.Joe you can rationalize ANYTHING to fit your insane agenda. Here's the truth, I didnt follow Stern he had no effect on me, my numbers etc, we never promoted Stern when I was there (which I always thougt was a mistake) if I were on mid day right after Stern then yes his influence would be a huge part of my numbers but since I was on in a daypart non adjacent to him his numbers were not a factor, Rhode Island? Joe I worked in Rhode Island for six months about as long as most people sit out non competes if they have to, before that I worked in Boston for the pervious several years................... Six months in Rhode Island didnt make me out of touch with what Boston wanted but apparantly twenty plus years in WOUBURN trying to ressurrect the careers of never were's such as Orleans (talk about not knowing what people want, mmy god!) and such have made you completely out of touch with Boston, then again you're out of touch with reality on all levels to begin with. By the way Joe please stop posting Toucher and Rich's Myspace profile on here, they're my Myspace friends so Im well aware of their profile, and for the record I wish them every success.Stop being a [*****] Joe, Jesus, it's so boring :[EDIT*=name calling]

See Joe? you posted a link to your songs on here and I actually did take a moment to listen, having never heard your music I took time to listen rather than just bashing you because you're a jerk. Had your song been any good I would have told you so, but they were just awful which is why you're doing cable access and not living comfortably off of your back catalougue. By the way, posting Toucher and Rich's myspace prpofile and saying "read it and weep" I assume you were taking about the few comments they have gotten from people saying how hilarious they are? well since Im not the one that they were hired to replace Im not the one that would be offended by their recieving accolades, go look at mine and enjoy the many " Boston misses you so much" comments on my profile but Im sure in your mind somehow Toucher and Rich's are more legitimate than mine, here's a lesson Joe: IT's MYSPACE< ITS ALL BULL****!!!!. Listened to Kid Toucher-whatever it's called show by accident today. Gave them about 5 minutes and they weren't making any friends. Heard them--or one of them--attempting to derail a woman for calling in to tell them they were tools and bad O&A impersonators. There was also mention of WAAF in there too. They asked her age and if she had kids. She told them she was 33 and had kids. They were lame with their responses, making fun of her age, her having kids, even what they thought her job may be. My immediate impression is: Way to win over the Boston audience two days in. 33-year-olds with kids are part of the demo you're striving for. Boo.Last time I checked ratings were rough at the Rock.Get to making friends.

From one who grew up on the South Shore of Boston, and has since lived in Atlanta for the past 13 years.......Toucher...........Rich.............you guys need to make a MAJOR adjustment. You thought Atlanta was critical??? Boston will kick you to the curb faster than you can learn to say 'that was the most wicked f____in' song I've heard in a while..."I wish you luck, and you'll need it.Dano - now in the ATL, but 100% Bostonian through-and-through.
