Maybe BCN should have just hired some hack to play music and talk about how great the Red Sox are at every other break. Then they could talk about the finer qualities of Samuel Adams beer. Oh let's not forget the Big Dig and other engineering marvels of the greater northeast. Ooh, or better yet, they could have just hired Nik 2.0 back and then all would be right with the world. T&R have been on the air for less than a week and you people are ready to run them out of town. I've listened for a few days...i'd like to give them more of a shot than 3 days...but a few people have calle dme up to tell me they were bashing AAF, so i guess they are doing their job by getting attention. good luck to toucher and rich...although i always liked hardy and hamilton

I agree that you have to wait more than the 3 days or whatever they have been on. But as I see it right now, they are just plain terrible in my opinion, and I can say that unless their show changes noticably, I will not be listening.

No, actually Scumulous wanted "him" gone. Rich was in Dallas working with Kid K. But they will do fine once they realize what audience their dealing with.

Gotcha Carl, thanx brother!. He is correct they will need a good while to make an impact, make adjustments, and fit into the market. You can't judge a show by it's first week, they still dont know where they are yet in most cases. I truly feel bad for Hardy too, that is a tough thing to have to follow the guys who replaced you. I wish him well and hope he kills at night, less pressure and he can probably be more experimental if he chooses to be.

So, I gave them another chance this afternoon while driving home and it was like they had already run out of things to say. What have they been on, a week and they are down to telling stories about things their friends did while drunk and having people call in with I Got Hurt While Drunk stories. Wow, timley and topical, edgy without going over the edge...Why they're saying what everyone is thinking. I'll be chatting around the water cooler about this one tomorrow and all that other PD puke.That was the best they could come up with? A little early in their stay here in Boston to start cruising, isn't it?

Re: Toucher and RichHere's some gags they can use - Now that Al Zarqwei is dead, does that mean Al Roker steps up to the plate? Come on that whole story had gags all over it.. His "Death Photo" looked like this geek I knew in college who passed out after too many beer bongs. I thought for sure the US would magic marker his face, maybe do it up in girl's makeup. I know my first post, but had to now that Joe and Nik are back at it again, I almost gave up checking the board this week as it was too quiet.Joe, how many capes do you really have? Are they in a walk in closet? do you press them every week? Nik, come on man your better than "The Count" why do you respond to him.. you're pro man, always have been. But please continue at least for me or it's just not worth checking the Boston board.

BCN has been doing a lot of AAF bashing as of late. But like most radio wars, it is kind of one-sided. AAF hardly makes any acknowledgement of BCN. Sound Familiar? Remember back in the days of O&A on AAF, when that "war" was going on. AAF called out BCN all the time, but BCN rarely if at all mentioned AAF. Its funny how when the ratings change, the roles reverse. And its not just O&A either, although they do probably have something to do with it. Whoever is on top of the ratings never mentions the other station, while the station falling behind tries to bring their competition down by any means necessary.
