WYAY chose not to renew their NASCAR contract.

He states that they are the fastest growing station in the ATL, prove him wrong. To quote GTGO: Go back and read the current book and many older posts here! (emphasis mine) Did you? It's about time those on this board give this man the respect he deserves.
A 5000 Song Playlist? That doesnt mean the station is successfull..
I will check on how big that playlist is!
Others have posted numbers that their audience actually went DOWN!

Its great to see your continued posts proving to the world that you cannot read nor digest ratings - as actual numbers have been posted in other threads you started showing that WYAY has LOST audience since they flipped from Country.
Someone else posted, and I cant find the thread, about specific audience numbers.. and show they went from listeners in the high 200,000's to somewhere in the low 200,000's....
HOW IS THAT HAVING SUCCESS AND GAINING?

Actually I have read it - clearly you have not.
A year ago WYAY had 288,500 12+ listeners. In the Summer 2008 book they had 268,400. By the last month of the Summer Book, September, they had fallen to 204,600 listeners

Seems to me that 97.1 also flipped from country to oldies some time ago. Was the former country WYAY losing ad revenue, and that was the reason for the big switch? Or is country not as popular in Atlanta as it was at one time?

RhubarbFan said:Yeah they could, but CC spent alot of money to get the Braves. So it's anybody's guess where Nascar will go.
